On May 3-4, 2017 we welcomed just over 900 executives, entrepreneurs, future thinkers and journalists through the doors of our new venue the bcc- Berlin Congress Center for the sold out second SingularityU Germany Summit.

The main aim of the Summit is to to transfer an understanding of the strategic relevance of disruptive technologies in an era of extraordinary innovation, and how these will affect us, our businesses, our communities and our society. At the 2017 Summit we looked specifically at the following areas:

  • Exponential Organizations
  • Artificial Intelligence & Robotics
  • 3D Printing & Manufacturing
  • The Future of Work
  • Mobility in 2025
  • The Finance of Tomorrow
  • Life Sciences & Digital Health
  • Ecosystem Thinking

To keep things fresh we invited a brand new line-up of inspiring speakers from both Singularity University in Silicon Valley and local experts with knowledge of the German-speaking markets. See the Speaker section for more details.

Alongside traditional keynotes we introduced deep-dive sessions, which enabled smaller groups of attendees to learn from experts about how they are using exponential technologies and ideas in real-life scenarios.

All in all the SingularityU Germany Summit 2017 was a huge success and we thank all of our sponsors and partners for their support – and of course all our attendees for bringing enthusiasm and an open mind.

What is Singularity University?

Our mission is to educate, inspire and empower leaders to apply exponential technologies to address humanity’s grand challenges.

Singularity University is a benefit corporation based on NASA Research Park in Silicon Valley. SU provides educational programs, innovative partnerships and a business accelerator to help individuals, businesses, institutions, investors, NGOs and governments understand cutting-edge technologies and how to utilize these technologies to positively impact billions of people. Since 2009, SU has hosted students and industry leaders from more than 90 countries and has prepared both individuals and organizations for exponential technology changes through a series of events, conferences and education programs. These experiences have facilitated a fundamental change in thinking to fully recognize and understand the broad implications of technology changes and more importantly, how the combined effects of these transitions will transform everything around us— rapidly.

Singularity University, where the world’s brightest minds convene to attack the world’s toughest challenges.
